The Start of it All
This is a little background about me and how I got involved with the Disney College Program. I had heard about the Disney College Program when I was in 5th grade and thought that was the coolest thing on earth and immediately wanted to apply as soon as I could. When I got to my junior year in high school and it was time to start touring colleges I knew that my only requirement was that they offered the Disney College Program. I had made it my mission to find the tables that gave me information on the Disney College Program and that was it, which my dad wasn't very happy about but hey what can I say. I had toured UB, Buff State and SUNY Brockport which all offered the program and as soon as I spotted the table my face lit up with joy! I chose to go to Brockport because when it was time to apply to the Disney program I would have to get use to living away from home and I felt as though this was the perfect medium for me being away but still close to home.
